He Raranga Hou - Weaving Anew

The conference will be held over the weekend of Friday 24 May to Sunday 26 May 2019 / 8-10 ‘Aẓamat (Grandeur) 176 – incorporating the Declaration of the Báb Holy Day on 24 May.

Although this is a national conference, it will be held in two locations simultaneously:

North Island

Alfriston College (550 Porchester Rd, Manukau, Auckland)

South Island

Knights Stream School (1 Killarney Avenue, Halswell, Christchurch)

He Raranga Hou is an invitation to all adults, youth, junior youth and children in New Zealand to come together in fellowship for three days to re-dedicate our efforts to weaving a new pattern of life and accelerate the growth in our activities.

Together we will embark, in a warm spirit of collaboration, on a collective deepening on the purpose of Bahá’u’lláh’s Revelation, the weaving together of worship and service, ensuring the progress of all communities, the creation of spiritually vibrant neighbourhoods and towns, the special significance of the spiritual empowerment of youth and their whanau, and an exploration of our spiritual whakapapa and destiny in Aotearoa.

The process of deepening during the conference will be enriched by the diversity of participants, stories and experiences shared, artistic performances and undertakings, including special musical performances. A parallel programme for children and junior youth will allow them to partake equally in this memorable endeavour, including participating in segments of the main programme.
