A letter from the Continental Board of Counsellors for Australasia contains important information about changes to the membership and roles of the Auxiliary Board.
Following the recent National Convention, Counsellor Latai ‘Atoa wrote: “I have enjoyed every minute of the three days of rich consultation… ”
Highly conscious that “the power of the Covenant strengthens our waka”, National Convention joyfully discharged its sacred functions of electing the National Spiritual Assembly and consulting on the work of the Cause.
The number of Auxiliary Board members for Aotearoa increases from six to seven for the next five year term.
This year’s National Convention (assuming it is able to go ahead) will not be open to the generality of believers.
Counsellor Tessa Scrine will continue her role in liaising with Aotearoa, and Counsellor Latai ‘Atoa is introduced.
The friends are encouraged to draw inspiration and insight from a new compilation being circulated by the Institution of the Counsellors.
