Site lays out a welcome to New Zealand's ‘World Conferences’
The National Spiritual Assembly made this announcement to all Local Spiritual Assemblies and Bahá’í groups on 24 March:
Dear friends
As foreshadowed in a letter to you on 20 March, an attractive website is being launched this evening [24 March] as an information hub for the forthcoming “world conferences” in Aotearoa. We hope the website will prove a great tool for creating awareness amongst “well-wishers of humanity” who might attend.
The address of the site is: conferences.bahai.org.nz. It provides the following features and functions:
“Find a conference near me” and a form for seeking more information
A page describing the purpose of the conferences
A page describing the themes
“A global community” — a collection of films and articles that illustrate the worldwide efforts of many people and communities striving to translate Bahá’u’lláh’s vision for humanity into action.
Links to other official sites of the Bahá’í community
… Additions will be made to the site in future, as further information comes to hand about more of the conferences and for other information that would interest participants. We are most grateful to the site design team and to all the other friends working on various aspects of conference preparations, locally, regionally and nationally.
Links to editable conference flyers were provided with our previous letter and improved versions of these are now downloadable from the website. They are in docx format, with specific fields made editable, so customised local details can be added on the front and the back.
Non-editable promotional posters/flyers are also available and can be downloaded as PDFs to be used as email attachments and for printing, and as PNG files (image files) which are suitable for use when posting on social media channels. See: conferences.bahai.org.nz/download.
