Post-Convention greetings from Counsellor Latai ‘Atoa

Counsellor Latai ‘Atoa, from Tonga, who represented the Continental Board of Counsellors for Australasia at New Zealand’s 67th annual National Bahá'í Convention last month, wrote to the National Spiritual Assembly on 12 June 2022:

To the beloved National Spiritual Assembly of New Zealand,

I have been greatly honoured and I feel blessed to be in the midst of such a joyous Convention. The loving collaboration between the National Assembly and the delegates brings so much enlightenment to all. I have enjoyed every minute of the three days of rich consultation with all the wonderful accompaniment of the dear Auxiliary Board members.

I am glad and happy that the night of spiritual preparation of the delegates was a good reminder to the dear delegates. So much learning and beautiful insights gained throughout the duration of the Convention.

I was so humbled and so inspired when having an opportunity to meet your Institution. It was such a joyous moment witnessing the love and heightened collaboration amongst your members. My heart is full of love for all the beautiful delegates and to the beloved National Assembly.

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality that made me feel comfortable and feel at home. Sione and Tupou were such great hosts and they are a close family, and thank you for making that happen.

God willing, we will meet each other in the future.

With love and appreciation,

Latai
